👉 Alnwick castle or bamburgh castle?

I'd say that Bamburgh castle is more likely to be part of a day whereas Alnwick Castle may be all day. When I go to Bamburgh I tend to combine it with either a trip to Holy Island, or the Farne Islands. Check out the Visit North East England website for other ideas.

👉 Ashford castle or dromoland castle?

If I had to chose, Ashford would take the top spot. A few notes: Both are pretty pricey (I guess this is obvious): Dromoland: Service is exceptional, nice to rent a golf cart and drive around property, rooms are more standard (like a glamorous hotel room). They allow 3 guests per room. Many more children here than Ashford based on my experience.
